Easy and simple

Ah Well, some time soon I will get the time to develop this site further

I've started this site because I wanted to begin to talk to others about PENJING and BONSAI, particularly a small group of friends in GRAHAMSTOWN, South Africa.

And, of course, there are all those other things that happen, like practicing for retirement and getting the hermitage organised for a time when life becomes one's own again after a life time of giving a lot of it to other people and their interests.

So, as this site builds up, and I discover who I am again, because a working life will steal what you were interested in from you in favour of some list of things that constructs itself around you to do, in order to keep the entity and its system running. One's reality becomes a construction of society. That's what we all look forward to getting back. Either one has to win the LOTTO, get lucky and make something worth a lot of money, or, you just plod until you get to retirement and you form your own society.

There is also this thing about the way in which bonsai and penjing contributes to the way of seeing and constructing within the mind. As the process of working out what you see in the future in the tree that is in front of you; like farming, you can plan it in an hour in your new farmhouse kitchen - its going to take you twenty years to get half way there.
